Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 31, 2026
Ritmeo helps you organize your eating routine. It was built so your data stays with you.
In short
- No account and no servers of ours.
- No ads, no analytics and no tracking.
- We can’t see your data.
What the app stores
Your plans, meals, foods, supplements, history, water, weight, photos and settings are saved in a database on your iPhone. Widgets and Siri use the same data, also on your device.
iCloud
iCloud sync is on by default and you can turn it off in Settings. Your data goes to your private iCloud database, which only your Apple Account can open. We can’t read it.
Apple Health
Health stays off until you turn it on and allow it. Ritmeo then reads and saves water, calories, protein, carbs, fat and body weight. You can change this access in the Health app at any time.
Photos and Apple Intelligence
Meal photos are saved on your iPhone, and in your iCloud if sync is on. Photo analysis, plan import from a photo or PDF and nutrition estimates run on your device with Apple Intelligence. Nothing is sent to us.
Purchases
Ritmeo Plus is sold through the App Store and Apple handles the payment. We don’t receive your payment details.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled on your iPhone. They don’t go through any server of ours.
Sharing
We don’t sell or share your data. Exports, backups and Ritmeo files only leave the app when you share them.
Third parties
There are no third-party SDKs for analytics, ads or tracking. The only outside library is GRDB, a database that runs on your device. iCloud, Health and the App Store are Apple services covered by Apple’s privacy policy.
Your choices
- Export a backup in Settings.
- Erase all data in Settings. It is deleted on this iPhone and, while iCloud sync is on, in iCloud too. The samples Ritmeo saved to Health are removed as well.
- Turn iCloud sync or Health access off whenever you want.
- Deleting the app removes its data from your iPhone.
Health advice
Ritmeo doesn’t replace advice from a nutritionist, dietitian or doctor.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date above.
